Our Approach

Why We Publish Differently

We believe knowledge creation in the AI era demands new methodologies and new publication models.

Real-Time Documentation

We publish chapters as they’re written via Substack, document process via YouTube, and timestamp priority via arXiv—then compile polished books. The velocity matches the work.

Transparent Collaboration

We openly acknowledge human-AI collaboration as methodology, not secret. The dialogue itself is the research—documented with methodological rigor.

Direct Reader Relationships

Through our Books.by storefront, we own the relationship with readers—building community around ideas rather than algorithms.

Peter Tuddenham

Co-Founder & Director, College of Exploration

Peter Tuddenham brings four decades of experience in systems science, organizational cybernetics, and distributed education to his exploration of human-AI collaboration. As co-founder of the College of Exploration, he pioneered the Ocean Literacy Framework that influenced national education policy and reached 18,000+ educators worldwide.

His current work focuses on coherence epistemology—a framework for understanding how knowledge emerges through sustained dialogue—and the Extracellular Matrix metaphor for non-hierarchical organizational design.
